The Audi A4 is the company’s top selling car, with 10 million units sold worldwide since it was released. It is also the top selling model for Audi in Canada, as it is in most car markets.

The car will face one of its toughest tests yet, taking on the redesigned BMW 3 Series this year. In order to contend, Audi have rejuvenated the Audi A4 as well as the Audi S4 2013 models.

Audi A4 Allroad Quattro

The Audi A4 Allroad Quattro is set to be reintroduced to the line-up this year. The car is made larger by being taller and wider. The wheels and suspension have changed making the Allroad model look almost like a 4×4. It’s off road credentials are pretty obvious to anyone just by looking at the look of the car. The storage within doesn’t differ much from the normal family sedan A4 when the seats are erected. When folded down, the difference is quite considerable. This particular model will not reach the Canadian automotive market. If it did Audi would have seen plenty of demand in Canada.

The Audi A4 Exterior

The typical Audi A4 model gets a whole newly designed front and rear. The headlights appear to be Audi’s next generation of design, with a different sort of jewel shape to it.

The Audi A4 Interior

Inside the cabin, the MMI infotainment system has been greatly improved with easier usability. With just four buttons rather than the eight on the previous system, drivers will now find everything a lot simpler. The four options will be the telephone, media, radio and navigation. The steering wheel has also been redesigned along with the driver controls being a lot easier to access. Heating the seats has now been made a lot easier to function. The driver simply has to push a button rather than adjusting a knob to find the desired setting.

Overall the interior of the car possess great quality with plenty of attention to detail, as you would expect from Audi.

No diesel variant

The Canadian auto market will also not receive any diesel variants of the car. Is this a smart move? Many motorists are looking for more economical options following a current high on fuel prices. With no Audi A4 diesels being offered, many may trump for the BMW 3 Series.
