Audi have opened spectacular new showroom in Beverly Hills. The grand event was a very big deal with guests such as Stacey Keibler present. The dealership is in partnership with The Fletcher Jones Family of Fine Dealerships.
The dealership has been open since January 26th with a total of eight showrooms around the Los Angeles area. In an area of the rich, Audi have clearly strategically plotted their locations.
Audi’s position in the United States
It was BMW who finished on top of luxury sale charts in 2012. After a very tight battle with Mercedes-Benz, BMW managed to just pip them. The sales war between the two was so close that neither were prepared to release their sales figures first. Audi finished third, above last year’s winners Lexus, the luxury division of Toyota. Although Audi did not finish on top, they did show the highest growth rating of all luxury car brands. Many expect that trend to continue and for them compete with BMW and Mercedes-Benz even more this year in the United States.
What happened at the event
The opening of the new Audi dealership saw the President of Audi, Johan de Nysschen deliver a speech. The event also included a charcuterie station on the back on an Audi Q.
Mike Cagle, the Director of the Western Region for Audi America was also on hand to give a speech at the event. He said “Audi is pleased to return to the coveted Beverly Hills market to better serve our clients and reach new prospects looking for a progressive luxury vehicle. The Wilshire Boulevard location is in the heart of one of the largest U.S. markets for the brand. Audi has achieved tremendous momentum is Southern California and partnering with the Fletcher Jones Company and their culture of serving the customer and community is a logical step forward.”
