The Audi RS5 is set to be released over the Middle East later on in the year. The news is quite fresh so there is no news on the prices and the specifications of the car. Typically one country will receive a certain type of specification depending on their market conditions.
Fans over in the Middle East will be ecstatic that the RS5 will make it’s way over to showrooms. The car is very aerodynamic. The large air intakes give that fact away. The car looks better and performs wonderfully for it. The rear bumper has been redesigned to look more modern and to add to the car’s great performance.
The textile lightweight roof helps the car in reaching it’s top speed that extra bit quicker. Uniquely the roof has a special foam layer inserted. This helps drown out the outside noise, delivering even more comfort.
The soft to roof is able to open in just 15 seconds and close in only 17 seconds when driving up to speeds of 30 MPH. The vehicle is clearly practical as well as good looking and speedy. The rear seats are able to split fold, allowing extra space for luggage.
The RS5 sits approximately 20mm lower than a standard Audi A5 Cabriolet. The car has a sportier profile, looking better and driving better too.
In terms of exterior colours, there will be eight to choose from. There will surely be something for everyone. There is an optional extra matt aluminium package. Carbon fibre reinforced polymer is used within the engine when selecting this particular package.
The interior is once again beautiful looking with a great deal of sporty elements. The steering wheel has three spokes with a flat bottom, resembling sports car wheels. There are plenty of controls upon the steering wheel, adding an element of practicality to the car. The dials are black with the numerals being white, the contrast looks delightful and is very easy to read too.
In terms of power, the car’s V8 4.2 FSI engine is able to output a brilliant 450 BHP. There really is no need for extra power. The seven speed S tronic dual clutch transmission mates perfectly to the engine.
The Quattro all wheel drive system is barely a surprise. At the right times, the car will get a great balance of traction and stability. We are sure the Audi RS5 will be a big hit in the Middle East.
