The Audi Q3 2.0 litre TFSI has been released in Malaysia, adding to Audi’s full line-up of luxurious passenger vehicles.

Audi have now released the Audi A1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q3, A5, TT and the R8 in the country. There really is something for everyone now.

However there is not as much choice in terms of configurations and models. The Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI will be made available with it able to hit a maximum of 170 BHP. The engine will be nicely mated to a seven speed S tronic gearbox. All four wheels will receive an equal balance of power. The famous Quattro system will be installed into the car to the delight of many fans.

Audi decided to release the Audi Q3 in order to compete with the BMW X1 which has already hit showrooms. BMW X1 variants include the sDrive18i and the xDrive20d, giving the target market a great alternative in the Audi Q3. It contains more power than the sDrive18i and is also a four wheel drive just like the xDrive20d. Price wise the Q3 slots just in-between both vehicles. Perhaps the Audi Q3 offers the best of both worlds.

They are only missing the Audi A3 now. We are sure that the car will be released into Malaysian showrooms in the near future.

The S-Line version of the Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI comes with 18 inch wheels and chrome detailing around the car. Other optional extras include a 14 speaker BOSE Surround Sound System and a Panoramic Roof.

At the back the vehicle is able to store 460 litres of luggage. This is able to extend to a staggering 1,365 litres once all the seats are folded back. In general there is a great amount of space for all the family to sit in comfort, with decent head and leg room. There are nice touches of quality too including the extensive use of leather around the cabin.

Inside the cabin there will be a 6.5 inch colour display which is manually able to open and close. There is however no satellite navigation.

If that is not quite enough for you then you should turn to the Audi Q5, which comes with greater power. There is not a more powerful Audi Q3 being released in the country anytime in the near future.
