The Audi A6 will now will come an all wheel drive option in Nigeria for the entry level vehicle it has been confirmed. The 2.0 litre powered vehicle already has a start / stop capability along with a top view camera. Things have just got a lot better for Audi fans.
There will be five different variants of the vehicle. These include a 2.0 litre Premium, a 2.0 Premium plus, a 3.0 Premium, a 3.0 litre Premium Plus and a 3.0 litre Prestige. The very basic 2.0 litre Premium edition will come with a great amount of equipment and features. These include a
Audi Drive Select mode which helps the driver select the type of driving mode that they wish, automatic headlights and wipers, 17 inch wheels, a sunroof, heated mirrors, triple zone automatic climate control and an auto dimming rear view mirror.
The leather seats and upholstery add a great type of luxurious feel to the car. Inside the cabin comes Bluetooth technology, a 10 speaker surround sound system, an adjustable steering wheel, a satellite radio and iPod connectivity ability.
If that wasn’t enough for you upgrading to the 2.0 litre Premium Plus will give you 18 inch wheels, LED running lights and 18 inch wheels. Inside you’ll get parking sensors and a rear view camera, enhancing the safety of the car. The Audi MMI interface is a wonderful feature.
The colour screen is easy to use and looks great at the same time. There is a voice commanded navigation system too connected together with Audi Connect, helping real traffic data to be downloaded. The Audi 3.0 litre Premium in Nigeria will add a start stop engine and heated front seats.
The 3.0 Litre Premium Plus will have spectacular 18 inch wheels, adaptive headlights, cornering lights, S line exterior features, quad zone climate control, an electronically adjustable steering wheel, a Bose sound system, ventilated front seats and ambient LED interior lighting. The 2013 Audi A6 2.0 litre model has a turbo charged engine with 211 BHP. That is quite a substantial amount of power. From 0 – 60 MPH, the car will record a time of 7.5 seconds for models fitted with a CVT gearbox. An eight speed automatic gearbox will be made available as an option. The Audi 3.0 litre turbocharged V6 variant will produce a total of 310 BHP. There is an eight speed automatic gearbox along with all wheel drive technology and start stop technology. Audi’s success in Nigeria could be improved a great deal this year.
