Images of the new Audi A3 have been recently unveiled with photos being leaked around the internet. The news made for a wonderful reaction from automotive journalists and fans alike across the world. Officially the car will be shown at next month’s Geneva Motor Show held in Switzerland.
New four door sedan for Audi A3
There will a great list of different models available with the Audi A3. These will include a three door model, a more practical five door model and an amazing four door sedan model for the first time. This particular model will be released in the UK and emerging car markets such as India too, showing it’s great flexibility and wide appeal.

Audi are currently performing extremely well India, beating the 5,000 sales target which was originally set. The first car to contain the MQB platform
The Audi A3 will be the first to contain the Volkswagen’s newly developed Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform. It is a generalised platform which is expected to be rolled out across the entire Volkswagen Group upon appropriate vehicles. This will represent huge savings for the company and a more efficient method of car production. The Audi A3 will have plenty to live up to in that respect as it will be the first of many.
From the standard images, the Audi A3 looks like it could be something quite special. As a standard vehicle it still looks sporty, meaning there could no need for the expensive add-ons if it is a sporty profile which you are going for.
The Audi A3 TDI which is the car shown in the leaked images will hold a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine. That is the current engine that is installed within the Volkswagen Jetta, the Volkswagen Passat as well as the Skoda Yeti 4×4.
