The new Audi TT RS has been unveiled at the Beijing motor show, and it will turn heads. It will turn heads in plenty of ways too. Not only does the car look amazing, but it will also perform the same as a supercar. It is a supercar in a but name and without the extremely high price tags. So, how will the Audi TT RS be able to do this?

Well the first and most impressive statistic which has been released surrounding this car, is found within its ability to reach 62 mph in 0.2 seconds slower that the Audi R8. So that speed clocks in at about 3.7 seconds which is evidently very remarkable. The Audi can also reach a top speed of 174 mph but, it will be restricted to 155mph in the UK. The speed of the TT RS will be accomplished via a 2.5 litre turbo charged petrol engine which can produce 394 bhp.  The most surprising factor is that it has half the motor and half the cylinders of the R8 model, but still performs just as well.

There will be two versions of the Audi released. The coupe and roadster versions will both hit the UK roads in the autumn of 2016. The convertible version is still quick despite having to carry an extra 90kg because of the roof. But again, the engineering is innovative. The convertible only takes 10 seconds to open or close the roof in speeds of up to 30mph.

The TT RS looks the part too. The roadster and coupe models have aggressive and rather large hexagonal grilles, side air intakes and small headlights which give it a monstrous feel when looking at it. A perfectly placed wing at the back gives it even more of a sporty and adult look too. The interior is, as you would expect from Audi, clean, efficient and timeless. So, with prices rumoured to be around £50,000 the new Audi TT RS, it most certainly is a steal of a car.
